We are pleased to announce that Susan Dixon, Partner, Finn Dixon & Herling LLP, and Daniel G. Johnson, Principal, Cummings & Lockwood LLC, will be our guest speakers on the subject of Executive Compensation and Estate Planningat our May 9th Annual Meeting & Dinner Program. Cash bar and cocktails will begin at 5:45 p.m., followed by dinner promptly at 6:30 p.m., speakers at 7:30 p.m., and we anticipate an end to the meeting between 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
Attorneys Dixon and Johnson will identify the typical components of a compensation package for an executive (or other highly compensated individual), identify the items commonly evaluated when negotiating a compensation package, and the estate planning opportunities that should be evaluated at that time. The types of compensation and benefits to be covered include 401(k) plans, SERPS and other supplemental retirement plans, AD&D insurance, stock options, restricted stock, profits interests and other equity-based compensation.
