Jim’s topic will be “Getting Mentioned in the Media.” He will offer his unique insight on how to get your message out through guest columns, as a reporter’s source etc., with a focus on how to be media savvy and prepared to do video and live TV. The format of this meeting will be our usual dinner program, with cocktails beginning at 5:45 p.m., followed by dinner promptly at 6:15 p.m.\n \nJim Pavia is the Money Editor at CNBC digital, overseeing two key pillars, the Financial Advisory Hub and Personal Finance. Pavia, an award-winning journalist, was formerly the editor/editorial director of Investment News where he worked for 10 years. In 2014, he was the recipient of the Malcolm S. Forbes Public Awareness Award for Excellence in Advancing Financial Understanding Among the Public.
