AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR COUNCIL’S DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS:

Due to widespread concerns about the Coronavirus, my firm’s Market Manager has suspended any outside events from being held at any of our local Bank of America Private Bank offices and therefore, we need to reschedule our upcoming breakfast meeting on March 18th.

We will continue to monitor developments and will keep you posted on when this meeting will be rescheduled.

We are pleased to announce that Stephen M. Napier, Esq., a partner at Ivey, Barnum & O'Mara, LLC, will be our guest speaker whose presentation will provide an “Overview of the new SECURE ACT” at our “members only” breakfast meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., at the Bank of America Private Bank office located at 55 Railroad Avenue in Greenwich.

Stephen Napier is a partner at the firm, practicing in the areas of tax and estate planning, trust and estate administration and business succession planning. Mr. Napier regularly advises individuals, families and business owners on developing tax-efficient and practical wealth management strategies, including the preparation of wills, revocable living trusts, insurance trusts and business succession plans. He also helps guide fiduciaries and beneficiaries through the trust and estate settlement and administration process, including probate and contested estate matters. Advance registration is required (due to building security protocol) and reservations to attend can be made by contacting me by email (alva.carter-hasan@bofa.com); “first come, first served.” As a courtesy to those who attend, we request that cell phones be silenced during the session. We also request that “No Shows” be minimized. Please feel free to bring coffee, tea, bagels, etc. to the meeting.

PARKING: Guest parking is located at the back of the building located off 55 Railroad Avenue and entered via the side entrance of the building or you may park on Greenwich Avenue or on Railroad Avenue (off-street parking) and walk to the building. Please note that Bank of America has 8 reserved spots that are clearly marked upon driving to the back of the building; therefore, please let me know if you plan to park at the back of the building so I can reserve a spot for you.  Upon entering the building, please check in at the security desk located in the lobby. Security will then direct you to the elevator bank that will take you to the Bank of America Private Bank office located on the 3rd floor.

If we must cancel a breakfast meeting, an email will be sent to all registrants for whom we have an email address and we will make every effort to contact all registrants by phone as well. If you are unable to check your email or voice messages, please visit our website at www.epclfc.org where the cancellation announcement will be posted on our home page under “Next Meeting.” Except in unusual circumstances, we would know about the cancellation by 4:00 p.m. the afternoon prior to a breakfast meeting.
