Wealth Transfer Applications of Life Insurance will be the subject of the first Breakfast Meeting of our 2010-2011 program season on Wednesday, November 10, featuring guest speaker Carl J. Peterson, Managing Principal, Lindberg & Ripple, Inc. Breakfast Meeting participation is free and limited to Council Members – no guests – and attendance is limited to twenty-five (25) individuals to encourage active discussion.

Carl J. Peterson is a Managing Principal of Lindberg & Ripple, focusing on the Firm’s Wealth Transfer and Executive Benefits practices. He joined Lindberg & Ripple in 1995 after seven years as an agent with Northwestern Mutual, and currently serves as a member of M Financial’s LTC Advisory Committee. He is on the Board of Directors of Glastonbury, CT Little League Baseball and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Overseers of The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts as Business Committee Chairman. Carl graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1987 with a BA in economics. He holds the CLU and ChFC designations and Series 6, 7, 26 and 63 securities licenses. He resides in Glastonbury, CT with his wife, Lisa and three children.

Council Breakfast Meetings are held at the Westport Public Library (Arnold Bernhard Plaza – Levitt Pavilion Main Entrance), Westport, Connecticut, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The library has asked that attendees arrive promptly at 8:00. They open the door for us at 8:00 even though the library doesn't open until 9:00. Since the library will open early to accommodate us, their Coffee Shop will not be open for service during our meeting. Please feel free to bring coffee, tea, bagels, etc. to the meeting. There is a Starbucks Coffee diagonally across from the Westport Library on the Post Road and Oscar’s Deli is located on Main Street.

We also request that “No Shows” be minimized.
